Please do not enable the Sonos indexer function for the time being. I have noticed some sluggish behaviour on my Sonos system after using the indexer and I believe it is causing some instability problems within the application. Rebooting all zones within my Sonos system fixed the sluggish behaviour. I am looking for a more reliable way of kicking off the Sonos indexer from within C# .Net. I suspect resources are not being cleaned up properly after kicking off the indexer, and that this causes performance issues over time.
| Version/Download | Date | Description |
| 2.70.3 | 28/02/2010 | 2.70.3 - Fixed issue with the find best match functionality (based on disk number and track number within filename) 2.70.2 - I have ensured that all file paths are saved with the correct case. This includes any absolute paths specified for source path find or path replace 2.70.1 - Added error handling for file saving routines. |
| 2.70.0 | 16/02/2010 | This is a minor update but may be my last for a while as I am currently seeking alternative employement. This update fixes an issue with displaying ampersand (&) characters within the "Non exact match found" dialog box. |
| 2.60.9 | 26/01/2010 | Improved window resizing and handling of large system font sizes. Also in earlier versions if you had "Choose playlists upon processing" unticked and you closed iTunes, the playlist selector would be incorrectly shown. This issue has now been fixed. |
| 2.60.5 | 18/01/2010 | Default installation directories are now: Windows 7/Vista: C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Darren Link\iTunes Library Manager Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Local Settings\Application Data\Darren Link\iTunes Library Manager In this version window resizing has been improved. Window sizes are remembered in the AppSettings.xml file. Settings within AppSettings.xml file can be tweaked for users with a larger than default Windows font size. |
| 2.60.4 | 17/01/2010 | This version now installs correctly under Windows 7 to "C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Darren Link\iTunes Library Manager" by default.
Under Windows XP it will install to "C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Local Settings\Application Data\Darren Link\iTunes Library Manager" by default.
This version also has a help about box. |
| 2.60.3 | 13/01/2010 | Installer broken. Do not use. |
| 2.60.2 | 10/01/2010 | This version fixes a bug in version 2.60.1 where the configuration files were being saved to the destination
library path, rather than the application directory. Do not use version 2.60.1.
I have tested the installer on Windows XP and the file permission problems for the configuration files do not occur under this operating system. This appears to be a Windows 7 issue with the installation file generated by Advanced Installer version 7.3.1. |
| 2.60.1 | 09/01/2010 | This is the first version to be posted with a setup utility (created using Advanced Installer version 7.3.1).
On my Windows 7 PC I have an issue when it it is installed to C:\Program Files\Darren Link\iTunes Library Manager. After installing, the application does not have the necessary permissions to write the configuration files to this directory. If I install the application to C:\iTunes Library Manager everything works as expected. When the application is uninstalled via the control panel the configurations files are left installed. This should aid upgrading to a later version of the application. If I change the permissions of directory C:\Program Files\Darren Link\iTunes Library Manager so that "Users (Darren-PC\Users)" has full control, the application is able to create and update the configuration files. |
| 2.59.2 | 07/01/2010 | Added error handling whilst processing tracks. If an error occurs it should
now give error details and the track it failed on. It will give you the option to
skip the track and continue processing. No modifications will be made to the track
XML data that the program errored on.
There is also an improved playlist selector. You can now choose playlists in the tree view or a flat alphabetically sorted list. There is a third view for viewing just the playlists you have selected (and the order that they will appear in Sonos under imported playlists). On the third view can you remove/unselect any of the playlists by highlighting them and pressing the delete key. I added the extra views as it can sometimes be difficult to find the playlists you have selected under the tree view. I have also added an option in the settings to make it possible to set the source and destination paths to be the same XML file. A backup copy of the source file is taken before it is replaced with the destination file when this mode is enabled and the paths are identical. |
| 2.58.0 | 30/12/2009 | Added the Sonos indexer functionality. The program can now kick off the Sonos indexer once the destination file has been written. Turned off by default |
| 2.57.0 | 28/12/2009 | Fixed bug where Mapping data was ignored where paths contained a comma. |
| 2.56.0 | 28/12/2009 | The size of the main form is now remembered. It is stored within AppSettings.xml when the main form is closed |
| 2.55.0 | 24/12/2009 | Major tidy up and new features |
| 2.29.0 | 17/07/2009 | Implented "Any Audio Format' / "Any Video Format" Source Media Type, Improved look of playlist selector |
